Ben Ali chairs closing session of Arab summit

President Zine El Abidine Ben Ali closed today the ordinary
session of the Arab Summit held in Tunis on the 22-23 May
2004.
On this occasion, the summit's Chairman delivered a speech
in which he said he was convinced that the results achieved
by this gathering would certainly strengthen Arab leaders'
determination to serve fixed objectives and preserve the Arab's
interests, consolidate the foundations of security and stability
in Arab countries and ensure a better future for successive
generations.
President Zine El Abidine Ben Ali also underlined that this
summit had made it possible to make a positive step on the
path of promoting and modernizing the conditions of the Arab
nation, which allows it to look to the future with confidence
and optimism.
